Lardner Descendants in the United States?

Since my last post, I have been searching for my various aunts and uncles that are believed to have emigrated to other countries, but have so far come up with nothing... But, in the mean time I have come across information on other possible Lardner descendants in the United States and have listed the individuals below and updated their corresponding family pages.  To get to the family pages just click on the hyper-linked parents names.

If you are in anyway related to these individuals, please leave a quick comment on one of the pages!

Until Later,
Jessica

Parents:
Nora Lardner and Michael O'Connell
  • Bryan O'Connell was a police officer, born in County Clare in 1886, he was married Mary Mcgowan/Mcgouan and died in Chicago, IL in 1940 (Death Record).
    • The year of birth of this Bryan matches to the record found in the Irish index, but the month and day is different.  It is possible that the date listed in the Irish index is the baptism date and not the actual date of birth as indicated in the U.S. record.  A review of the Irish civil and church records would be needed to verify what date the Irish records are providing.
  • Anna O'Connell was born in 1872, was married James J. Waldron and lived in Waukegan, IL, she later died in 1943 in Chicago, IL (Death Record).
    • As with Bryan listed above, the year of birth matches, but the month and day are different.  A review of the Irish civil and church records would be needed to verify what date the Irish records are providing.
  • Thomas O'Connell married Nellie C. Benham in 1890 in Cadillac, MI (Marriage Record 1) - (Register 1 Image) - (Marriage Record 2) - (Register 2 Image).
    • Thomas is not listed in the Irish index records that I initially found for this family, but the approximate date of birth which is listed as 1864 puts him at the very start of the civil records, a search through both the civil records and church records would be advised to establish a familial connection.
Parents:
Mary Lardner and John Barry
  • Annie E. Barry, dressmaker and daughter of Mary Lardner and John Barry died in Boston, MA.
    • Per the U.S. death record that has been located, Annie was born in approximately 1858 which would preclude her from being found in any civil index of births (civil record keeping began in 1864), but her baptism might be able to be found in the church registers of the period.  (Death Record) - (Image of Death Register Entry).
Parents:
Catherine (Kate) Lardner and Timothy Hanrahan
  • Nora Hanrahan married Cornelius Hassett in Manilla, IA and died in Denison, IA, both of these cities are located in Crawford County.
    • Nora was born around 1873 and was not found in my initial search through the indexed Irish records so she should be considered a "possible/probable" child of the couple.  In looking at the details of both the Marriage and Death entries found she is highly likely to be a descendant of Kate and Timothy. (Marriage Record) - (Death Record)
Parents:
John Lardner and Mary Wolfe
  • Anna M Lardner was the widow of Patrick Mahoney and died in Toledo, OH in 1940.
    • Per her U.S. death record, Anna was born about 1864 in County Clare, Ireland to a John Lardner and Mary Wolf  (Death Record) - (Image of Death Certificate).
    • Anna was not found in my initial Irish record search, but because of the approximated date of birth it is possible that she is not recorded in the civil register of births which began in 1864.  A search of the initial civil records and the church registers would be recommend to find certain confirmation of her familial link to John and Mary Lardner.
Parents:
Anne Lardner and John Conway
  • Mary Conway was born in approximately 1869 and was married to Patrick A. O'Connor.  According to the abbreviated index record of her death, she passed way in 1947 in Chicago, IL (Death Record).
  • The family page is now listed with Mary as a "possible/probable" child to Anne and John Conway because she was not found in my initial search, it would be suggested that both the civil and church records for the area and time be search again in order to find a direct connection to this Lardner/Conway family.  That being said, there is a Margaret Conway (born/baptized in 1868) that was found in the Irish index that may in fact be Mary, as it was not uncommon for the two names to be used in place of one another.
